The Argumentative Script

The reading exemplifies the need for true argumentative script amongst many ideas and beliefs. The idea of an argumentative hand tends to be a hand where pleasure is formed, is highly promoted throughout our text. (Ramage, 2010) Throughout an argument, oral or written, many sides are created in a contest equal to those on a football field.
With many arguments to look back on, the person whom started is convinced that he/she shall win the argument. Rather, the view should lean to more of a persuasive and logical approach to the problem or subject. When a conversation becomes merely a verbal contest, there is not educational portion being directed.
In the instance where a mother and her child is having a conversation of lets just say a curfew. The child will argue that they should be able to stay out longer and the parent argues that they must be home at a certain time. Rather than arguing over a topic like this, we should open up to reasoning within the argumentative nature. Rather than just yelling, let’s throw reason into the mix. Within common sense reasoning, we have bring the argumentative speech to something that truly makes sense a in which this time will become a learning experience rather than just a yelling match.

Comment to Myron

Myron,
Your interpretation of writing was portrayed as pure comical relief. The eventful situation of pulling teeth was ironically exactly how I feel about writing thoughts onto paper. The editing and revision being paralleled to the need to wash your mouth out after your visit to the doctor was hilarious.
The thoughts compelling this strange euphoria are precisely how I feel about writing as well. The need to complete a paper comes with so many strange feelings and thoughts it is miraculous. The splendor of finishing a paper is exactly like finishing your time with the dentist and the numbness disappeared.
Overall, your blog was pure comedy and an enjoyment to read. Again, I have to feel precisely the same way about writing my words down onto paper. Overall, I am a much better talked than a typist.

The Truth Behind Writing

Writing is like mowing the grass, or perhaps doing dishes. Even though there is a great hatred towards the act, it still needs to be completed. This is especially true while in any type of educational service where you must respond with personal experiences and ideas.
The first hurtle in getting my words onto paper is merely realizing when I need to quit procrastinating. Then next step is to sit down so I may type of my words onto the paper in order to submit these pages for hopefully good grades.  When I decide that it is finally that time, I tend to lay on my couch with the laptop in my lap listening to soft music. I guess this is the only to get in my writing utopia. This is the only spot in the house where my writing takes place. Once the mood is set, I think about the topic that needs to be written about. Then my eyes close. Unfortunately, this closer is not to fall asleep but to avoid myself from stopping every two words to correct or change. I merely start my blindly typing anything that comes into my head. I keep going until I have exhausted my mind from the thoughts that have helped my thus far. At this time is when I open my eyes and see red lines drug across the screen. I take a few minutes to correct all the errors is my typing that I have made and take a break from my work. After a few minutes I re-read over my work, make the necessary corrections, and turn in my paper for the grade. I guess writing actually comes relatively easy to me.

Most people my age, 24, seem to be addicted to some social based website such as Facebook or Twitter. I have been luck so far not to fall in this social media trap. However, due to my job, I tend to write emails more than anything. As a recruiter for the United States Army, I have a great expectation of involving the local population in many events where the US Army is a sponsor. In order to have these people involved in our events we much contact everyone. This is where the internet/email come in mighty handy.
As a student through the online classes, my writing habits have evolved over the course of the past few years. Unfortunately for me, my habits throughout High School were horrible towards anything school related. Now as an adult, I have matured a ton. My writing habits have evolved immaculately through the teachers I have had as well as purely life experiences and lessons. With these lessons comes a greater vocabulary with helps when trying to pinpoint the correct word for the correct situation.
Even though I am writing at a University level, the word “writing” is still scary. When I read the syllabus of a brand new class and it involves many papers, my heart starts to sink. However with my newfound writing utopia also known as the couch, I keep my head high and persevere through the rough times.
