The reading exemplifies the need for true argumentative script amongst many ideas and beliefs. The idea of an argumentative hand tends to be a hand where pleasure is formed, is highly promoted throughout our text. (Ramage, 2010) Throughout an argument, oral or written, many sides are created in a contest equal to those on a football field. 
With many arguments to look back on, the person whom started is convinced that he/she shall win the argument. Rather, the view should lean to more of a persuasive and logical approach to the problem or subject. When a conversation becomes merely a verbal contest, there is not educational portion being directed. 
In the instance where a mother and her child is having a conversation of lets just say a curfew. The child will argue that they should be able to stay out longer and the parent argues that they must be home at a certain time. Rather than arguing over a topic like this, we should open up to reasoning within the argumentative nature. Rather than just yelling, let’s throw reason into the mix. Within common sense reasoning, we have bring the argumentative speech to something that truly makes sense a in which this time will become a learning experience rather than just a yelling match.
