The editing and revision being paralleled to the need to wash your mouth out after your visit to the doctor was hilarious.

            The thoughts compelling this strange euphoria are precisely how I feel about writing as well. The need to complete a paper comes with so many strange feelings and thoughts it is miraculous. The splendor of finishing a paper is exactly like finishing your time with the dentist and the numbness disappeared.
